Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
My teaser:
"Hansel was devastated. "Aren't there any good parents in all the wide world?" he muttered."
A Tale Dark and Grimm by Adam Gidwitz, pg. 57
Never heard of this one, but it looks fun.

This book sounds fabulous. Who is the intended audience? What age range? I am a new follower!
ReplyDeleteThis book looks so cute! I hope you're really enjoying it!

Wow ...I can remember thinking that as a teenager. lol ;->
ReplyDeleteAnne, the author makes the book very "interactive" in the sense that he talks to the audience warning them to get the little kids out of the room because of the the beheading and child-cooking and stuff like that. I'm thinking it's geared towards older tweens and above (my copy is from the library and they cataloged it as a J book).
